Sofia decides to humour her Besta and participate in Midsommer, only to see that some legends are a bit more than that.

THE THINKATORIUM

This story entered a shorts competition with the challenge “Make the reader second guess what is real and what is AI”.

Consequently, it portrays Jules — someone who needs help adjusting his view on the world — interacting with Dr. Elin, a doctor trained to make models like Jules better. Their dialogue degenerates slowly, and as it does, see if you can spot which one of them is AI and which one is not.
